How do I schedule an appointment?
Scheduling is easy! Please reach out via phone, email, or the inquiry form found on the Contact page. We will set up an appointment for a day & time that works for you. If it is your first visit, you will receive a simple digital intake form to fill out at your earliest convenience. Returning clients (that have been seen at this Telford location) can also book online here.
Will you bill my INSURANCE?
We do not bill insurance companies directly and are considered an “out-of-network” provider. Being free of contracts allows us to recommend and provide a program of care that is tailored to the client, not to a company. Additionally, a few of the soft-tissue techniques that we provide are specifically not recognized by many insurance companies. We strive to keep costs affordable and consistent, while serving our clients’ individual needs. If services that we provide are covered under your out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide you with detailed receipts or superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Is there parking?
Absolutely! Parking is free & generally abundant in front of the building. There are also designated handicapped parking spaces and a sidewalk ramp to make accessibility easy to our ground floor office.
What should I wear?
For chiropractic, ART and CFT sessions, you will remain fully dressed. Please wear something that is comfortable for you & allows for movement during examination and therapy, such as athletic attire.
For massage therapy, what you wear into the studio is of little consequence as you will be dressing down for your session. Draping is used throughout the massage to maintain comfort & modesty.
We ask that you refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, and overly fragrant hair and body products, as some of our clients and staff members are chemically sensitive.
What about illness?
If you have an upcoming appointment but find yourself with an active illness, infection, or flare up, please stay home & take some time to rest & recover. Soft tissue therapy & CFT are contraindicated in these situations. Please contact us as soon as you know you will be unable to make it to your appointment. You will be trusted & will not be charged.
As your bodywork therapists, if we find ourselves unwell, it is our responsibility to cancel your appointments so as to limit the spread of any illness. We will let you know as soon as possible & will help you get rescheduled for a later date.
What is the Late cancellation, Late arrival, & Missed appointment Policy?
Mlima Chiropractic & Wellness requires 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, a charge will be incurred for half the rate of service.
If you are running a few minutes behind schedule, please notify us via either text, phone call, or email & arrive when you can. We will work with the time remaining in your appointment slot. If you are significantly late so as to render the session impossible, it will be considered & charged as a late cancellation.
Any appointments that are missed completely without a call will be charged the full rate of service.
