Mission statement
The heart of this work for me is to walk closely with families as they journey through an intense and mystical season of life; to encourage them in their innate parenting abilities and responsibilities from pre-conception, through pregnancy and birth, and into their child’s first year; and to offer guidance as they polish away the layers of cultural dust to reveal their Divinely designed blueprint for creating and sustaining new life. My mission is to step into these formational spaces with you as you embark on your transformational childbearing year and to stand by you with encouragement every step of the way.
Offerings
- Full spectrum doula package: 4-6 prenatal counseling sessions, in-person birth support, 4-6 postpartum visits, check-ins and ongoing support during your baby’s first year
- A la Carte Workshops: Fertility Essentials, Pregnancy Choices, Labor & Birth, Postpartum, Baby Basics, and Celebrating Your Cycle (for tweens and teens)
- A la Carte Consulting Sessions: Fertility, Pre-Conception, Pregnancy Choices, Birth Planning, and Postpartum Planning
- Bodywork: Massage Therapy, Prenatal and Postpartum Massage, Infant Massage Instruction, and Craniosacral Fascial Therapy/The Gillespie Approach
About
Hi! I’m Erin Berg and I’m a full spectrum doula in the Bucks/Montgomery county area of southeastern Pennsylvania. I grew up in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and have a degree in Sociology. After spending sometime in childcare and other fields, I followed my intuition and became a Massage Therapist. Through my own childbearing year I was awakened to a deep calling to partner with other women and families during their transformational life experiences. In addition to my continual quest for birth and women’s health knowledge, I sought out and completed my doula training with Indie Birth in 2023. I deeply look forward to partnering with you curious and all-in mothers and fathers as you cocoon, shape shift, and birth yourselves and your babies into new, richer, and deeper forms of yourselves.
